I founded skybox Audio to rethink the way instruments are digitally recreated. We designed and built a one-of-a-kind autonomous robot that could perfectly capture the nuances of keyboard instruments in stunning detail, resulting in software instruments that felt alive. The innovation resonated—skybox went on to achieve many industry accolades and earn over a million dollars in revenue and counting.

Instrument UX Design
Once the source audio was captured by the keybot (that's what we called it) I designed a one of a kind playback engine to push the limits of what a sample based instrument could be. Pioneering a whole new genre of synthesis called Deep Granular, the quality of the source samples coupled with the flexibility and power of the playback engine proved to be a massive hit with creators.
